General FAQ
Ainitia FAQ
1. What is Ainitia?
Ainitia is a professional software ecosystem focused on utility, productivity and digital tools. Its products use an online licensing system managed through Ainitia License Manager.
2. Where can I download the applications?
Available applications can be downloaded from the downloads section or from each product’s public page on the Ainitia website.
3. Are the applications free?
Some applications may be downloaded freely, but certain features, usage periods or versions require a valid license.
Each product will show its conditions, available plans and license duration.
4. What types of license are available?
Ainitia may offer monthly, quarterly, annual or other license periods depending on the product.
Each plan shows its price, duration and conditions before purchase.
5. How do I receive my license after purchase?
After the payment is completed successfully, Ainitia License Manager automatically generates the license and sends it to the email address entered during purchase.
If you do not receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder.
6. What should I do if I do not receive my license?
First check your spam folder.
Then use the license recovery page by entering the same email used during purchase.
If you still cannot find it, contact support@ainitia.com
and include:
- email used during purchase;
- purchased product;
- approximate purchase date;
- payment provider used;
- screenshot or payment reference if available.
7. What is the license recovery page?
It is a page that allows you to request the key associated with an email address again.
It will only work if the entered email matches the one used during purchase or the one registered in the system.
8. Can I use a license on multiple computers?
It depends on the product and the purchased plan.
Some licenses are limited to one activation or to a specific number of computers. The purchase page and license email indicate the maximum allowed activations.
9. What happens if I change computers?
If you change computers, reinstall Windows or need an activation reviewed, contact support.
Ainitia may review the case, but does not guarantee automatic extension of the number of activations.
10. Do I need Internet access to use the applications?
An Internet connection is usually required to activate or check the license, especially during initial activation.
Some eligible paid licenses may include offline continuity to allow use until the paid expiration date if the license server is temporarily unavailable.
11. What does offline continuity mean?
Offline continuity is a technical entitlement that may be issued for eligible paid licenses.
Its purpose is to allow the user to keep using the application until the already-paid expiration date if the license server is unavailable or if the platform stops operating.
It does not imply indefinite support, future updates, free renewals or use after the expiration date.
12. Can I cancel or request a refund?
Ainitia may review refund requests in justified cases, such as duplicate charge, technical error attributable to Ainitia, license not generated after a confirmed payment or activation issue not resolved by support.
As this is digital software and electronic licensing, once the license has been sent, the product has been activated or the digital supply has started, the withdrawal right may be limited under applicable regulations.
To request a payment review, contact billing@ainitia.com or support@ainitia.com.
13. What payment methods does Ainitia accept?
Payments may currently be processed through PayPal or other systems that Ainitia may enable in the future.
Ainitia does not store full bank card details or payment credentials.
14. What should I do if payment fails?
If the payment fails, no license is automatically generated.
You can try purchasing again later or contact support if you believe you have been charged.
If your bank shows a hold but Ainitia has not received the payment, the operation may remain pending or be released by the payment provider. Contact your bank or payment provider if the hold does not disappear.
15. How do I contact support?
You can write to:
Technical support:
General contact:
Billing:
16. What information should I send to support?
For license issues, include:
- email used during purchase;
- affected product;
- license key, if available;
- operating system;
- error message;
- screenshot if it helps explain the problem.
17. Can I share my license?
No. Licenses are personal or linked to the buyer and must not be shared, resold, rented or sublicensed without express authorization from Ainitia.
18. What happens if license manipulation is detected?
Any attempt to manipulate, modify, falsify, bypass or abuse the licensing system may result in suspension or revocation of the license without refund.
19. Where can I read the legal terms?
You can read the terms of use, purchase conditions and privacy policy through the legal links on the website.
20. Does Ainitia provide support for third-party software?
Not necessarily. Ainitia support focuses on its own products, licenses, activations, purchases and basic operation.
It does not generally cover operating system repair, viruses, advanced third-party configuration, conflicts unrelated to the product or extensive technical training.

Ainitia LupScope
What is Ainitia LupScope used for?
It translates selected text in Windows and displays the result in a floating window. It is designed for quick translation while browsing, chatting or working with other applications.
What is Ainitia LupScope and how can it help me?
Ainitia LupScope is a floating translator for Windows designed to help you understand text from other applications without constantly switching windows. Select a sentence in a website, document, or conversation and view its translation immediately. It is useful for browsing foreign-language sites, reading technical documentation, communicating in international communities, or understanding occasional messages while gaming or working.
Does it require an Internet connection?
Yes. An Internet connection is required to activate or check the license and for translation features that rely on online services.
How does selected-text translation work?
Select compatible text with your mouse in another application and LupScope attempts to capture it and display its translation in the floating window. You can keep the window compact or activate LCD mode when you only want the translated result using as little screen space as possible. If an area does not expose copyable text, you can try the experimental OCR snipping feature, bearing in mind that results may vary.
How does the license work?
The application uses Ainitia License Manager to activate and check the license. Local license data is stored protected using Windows DPAPI.
What can I do when text appears in an image, video, or area that cannot be selected?
You can use quick OCR snipping, a feature that is currently experimental but functional. Mark a screen region and the application will attempt to recognise and translate the visible text. It may be helpful with images, screenshots, software interfaces, or content that does not allow direct selection, but it may make mistakes, fail to recognise text correctly, or produce inaccurate results, especially with small lettering, complex backgrounds, low resolution, or poor contrast. Whenever you can select the text directly, that remains the most reliable option.
Can I use it on any Windows version?
The application is intended for Windows. Windows 10 or Windows 11 64-bit is recommended. It is not intended for macOS or Linux.
What is LCD mode?
LCD mode is a reduced view that displays the translation in a discreet, readable format without occupying a large window. It is useful when you need ongoing translation assistance while browsing, working, gaming, or keeping another application as your main focus.
What happens if I change computers?
The license is linked to the activated computer. If you need to change computers, use the deactivate-this-device option when available and activate the license on the new device according to your license conditions.
Do I need an Internet connection to use Ainitia LupScope?
Yes. An Internet connection is required to activate or check your licence and to perform translations that rely on online services. Some interface actions can be opened offline, but translation and licence validation require network availability.
Does it include OCR or text scanning?
Yes. The application includes quick scan/OCR features to help capture text from screen areas when it cannot be selected directly.
How does licensing work, and what happens if I change computers?
The application is unlocked through a valid licence linked to an activation. To use it on another computer, you can deactivate the current machine from the licence window before activating it on the new one. If you no longer have access to the previous computer or need to recover your licence, use the website recovery option or contact support.
Which Windows versions are supported, and why might an installation warning appear?
Ainitia LupScope is designed for Windows, with Windows 10 or Windows 11 64-bit recommended. The installer may request administrator permission to install the program. If the executable is not yet digitally signed, Windows SmartScreen may show a warning; verify that you downloaded it from Ainitia and that its SHA256 hash matches the published value.
Does the application store the text I translate?
Ainitia LupScope processes the text required to display translations and provide the features requested by the user. The licensing system stores locally the information needed to validate activation on the computer. Please review the Privacy Policy for the applicable data handling terms or contact support for further information.
Why might Windows show a warning during installation?
This version of the installer is not digitally signed, so Windows SmartScreen may display a warning. This does not by itself mean the file is damaged, but it should always be downloaded from the official Ainitia website.
Ainitia Video
What is Ainitia Video for?
Ainitia Video is used to edit a main video with trimming, audio and video layers, visual annotations, timing effects, and final MP4 export.
Which operating system does it support?
Ainitia Video is designed for Windows as a desktop application. A Windows system compatible with 64-bit applications is recommended.
Do I need an Internet connection?
Video editing runs on the computer, but license activation and license checks require an Internet connection.
Can I use the program without a license?
The application can be opened without a license, but commercial features such as final export remain locked until a valid license is activated.
Does it include FFmpeg or do I need to install it separately?
FFmpeg and FFprobe are bundled with the application and are used to read metadata, process filters, and generate MP4 exports.
Can I save a project and continue later?
Yes. Ainitia Video can save and reopen projects, preserving information about the main video, trims, tracks, overlays, and timing effects.
What happens if I change computers?
The license is linked to the computer activation. If you need to move to another computer, use the deactivation option if available or contact support.
Are my videos uploaded to the Internet?
Editing work is performed locally on the computer. The Internet connection is used for license activation and validation when required.
Ainitia Screen Capture
Do I need a license to use it?
You can download and install the application freely, but a valid license is required to unlock all features.
What is Ainitia Screen Capture used for?
It is used to take screenshots on Windows, including instant capture and quick snipping of selected screen areas.
What can I do with Ainitia Screen Capture?
You can capture a full display, several selected displays or only a specific region of your desktop. The application is designed to quickly capture issues, interfaces, messages, designs, visual references, support information or any content you need to save or share without wasting time on manual processes.
Are screenshots uploaded to the server?
No. Captures are saved locally on your computer. The online connection is used for activation and license checks.
Does it work on Windows?
Yes. Ainitia Screen Capture is developed as a Windows desktop application.
What is the difference between display capture, quick snipping and a fixed capture area?
Display capture saves the full content of the selected monitors. Quick snipping lets you select a specific region with the mouse at that moment. A fixed capture area is intended for repeatedly reusing the same region, for example when capturing a window, counter, panel or specific part of an application several times.
Can I change the save folder?
Yes. The application lets you configure the folder where captures are saved.
Does it require an Internet connection?
The application may require an Internet connection to activate or check the online license. Available features may depend on the license status.
Can I edit a snip before copying or saving it?
Yes. You can enable optional quick-snip editing to review the result before copying or saving it. This is useful when you only want to keep the relevant information or adjust a snip before adding it to a document, conversation or report.
What happens if I change PC?
You can recover your license from the license portal. If you need to move an activation, check the deactivation options or contact support.
How is the license activated?
The license is activated from within the application through the Ainitia License Manager online system, using a valid key associated with the product.
Does it work with multiple monitors and portrait displays?
Yes. Ainitia Screen Capture supports multi-monitor setups, including displays with different resolutions, positions or portrait orientation. You can choose which screens are included in full captures and refresh detection from the interface when your configuration changes.
What should I do if antivirus shows a warning?
Check that you downloaded the installer from ainitia.com or portal.ainitia.com and compare the published SHA256 when the installer is available.
Can I use keyboard shortcuts?
The application includes global hotkey features when enabled, although their behavior may depend on system configuration and available Windows permissions.
Are captures saved on my computer or automatically uploaded?
Captures are processed locally on your computer. Depending on your settings, you can save them to your chosen folder or copy them to the clipboard. The application uses a connection for license-related processes when required, but not to automatically upload the visual content of your captures.
Does the application save diagnostic information?
Yes. The application may generate a local diagnostic log to help identify errors or freezes during use.
How does licensing work and do I need a permanent Internet connection?
The license is activated in the application using the key provided after purchase. Internet access is required for initial activation and online checks. In version 1.0.20, compatible previously activated paid licenses can continue working offline until their paid expiry date if no connection is temporarily available or the server cannot be reached. If the server later responds with an updated status, that status takes precedence.
What happens if I change computers?
Use on another computer may depend on the license terms and the number of activations allowed for the purchased key.
Can I use keyboard shortcuts and capture from games or full-screen applications?
You can configure global hotkeys to take captures and quick snips without constantly switching windows. The application also provides a games/DXGI mode option when compatible with the captured program and the system graphics environment.
Does the import include images or external files?
No. This import package only defines the product entry, content, version and FAQ. Images must be managed separately from Ainitia Admin.
What information should I provide if I need technical support?
Provide the installed version, the action you were performing and the behaviour you observed. The application generates per-session diagnostic logs that can help locate technical issues. These logs describe application events and are intended for support, not to automatically store the visual content of your captures.
